The driver side door on my parent's 80 Jimmy sags, when u close the door it scrapes the body. What do we need to change the hinges or fix whatever the problem is. You can lift on the door and there is play.

Could be either the hinge pin and/or hinge itself. Just replace both upper and lower door hinges. You aren't talking about a lot of money. Also check and make sure the holes on frame aren't cracking, if so, get them repaired before installing hinges. Usually this is caused when people use the door as a step up when getting inside.

Check the pins on the hinges. Sometimes they work their way up. You can usually hold the door back up level and tap it back in with a hammer. That will keep it level for a while. NAPA sells pin kits for low money. (No sense buying a whole new hinge and trying to line it up) Good Luck.

Why do people keep calling it a Bronco!!!!!
