Can anybody shed some light on how the door lock wiring and relay work. my 90 I can not ring continuity from the lock cyclinder connector to the connector at the lock relay under the dask (what a bad spot). On my 86 I can ring from the lock cyclinder connector to the connector at the relay.... So I have to assume I have a bad wire some where or something assuming that the two model years are wired the same?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The relay is working as it is unlocking the passenger door just not unlocking the drivers door... Any help Please....I have been on this for hours....and I need to win this battle....

Does anyone have a wiring diagram or some suggestions

How can I down load these to a PDF or something so I can print them and they stay together....

If you have a new version of windows you should be able to do that. I use google chrome as my web browser and it has an option to print to pdf. I would suggest that.

Hum, no luck,,,, it chops it all up and you only get parts of the diagram....

Right click save as for each one. Then print each one individually and "fit to page"

I'd start by checking to make sure there's 12v at the lock switch and when you activate the switch that it's got 12v going to the lock solenoid. This way you know if the switch is working properly and/or which side of the switch the problem lies on. Sounds like you already have the door panel off so you should have easy access to the switch.

Well after quite a few hours I have solved the problem. There were two borken wires in the rubber boot between the door jam and the door, I have jus touched them and confirmed that it now works.... Tomorrow will be the soldier and heat shrink tasks....

thanks for everyones help
