the problem on a 73 or newer GM is it goes all the way to the window and on 75 and up theres some compound curves up there as well

Could you just build it up a little to make it flat?

It will work! Might have to do some custom touches.
Oh, and the factory door panel may go to the window.....That doesnt mean this one does, its only curved metal up there with no holes. Just got to cover 3/4 of the flat part of the door.

'ell, I tried to go outside three times to see today what it might take to do that........pouring rain and lightning almost all day. 
Here too I was trying to pull the turbo stuff of my 93 But it's been pouring here for 3 days staight it stopped for about 45 minutes and now it's pouring again
