Hey there, I am trying to get the drivers side door panel off my wifes 90 Jimmy. The window is not working, I have removed all the screws and such, but it seems to be stuck on the top by the window. I can't see anything else that I need to remove, I was trying to remember years back when I had another vehicle that I removed the door panel on. I think the panel had a lip at the top that slid down, any help out there if this is the same? I just don't want to break anything as panel parts are not easily replaced. Anybody have a suggestion?

if you can, put the window down.. makes the top clip easier..

push the top of the door panel in towards the glass and lift up from the bottom...

Never done a later model one, but there are generally clips near the bottom...gently pry those loose first. Then the upper sill area is usually resting on a lip so by lifting up on the entire panel you can lift up and off.

Sometimes there are screws hiding in the door pulls or armrests....double check for those too.

OK, thanks, I thought it might be something like that, I'll give it a try.

Hey thanks guys, it worked, now I just have to figure out what's up with the window.
