Hello -

Can anyone tell where a good source is for getting the aluminum trim peices that go behind the inside handles for the driver and passanger doors? - I'm sure they are costly if you go through dealership. LMC dosn't see mto carry them, only for thier own molded door panels. I would rather not spend the time hunting salvage yards, since more then likely most will be trash.

Thanks

Look in some of the aftermarket billet trim suppliers adds. Sometimes they might have what you want.

you could make your own out of diamond plate.
That's what I did. IMO, it's better looking and it holds up a lot better than the stock plastic/thin aluminum plate. Here's the final results and the measurements.

Did you have to tap the lower vent fins in at all, or do they not stick out enough to make a difference? I don't see a screw holes, did you glue them on?

Looks awesome :waytogo:

Don't assume the dealer is "expensive", check first, some things they will surprise you with, IF they still have any.

Besides, if that's what you want, pay asking price, because you won't get better quality elsewhere. :)

Go to your dealer...

I got em somewhere around 60 a piece. They are still available. The only downside is they do not have cut-outs for power mirrors, which I have.
