Replacing my door strikers, drivers side perfect, pass side, the nut dropped out of the cage. I removed the interior rear side panel and it appears i could cut an access hole in the sheet metal and put a new nut/washer on the rear. Has anyone done this? My door jams are rust free. Thoughts/guidance?
