Door striker plate spinning...

I searched..

The plate to adjust the door striker on my 74 has spun 90 degrees making it impossible to adjust correctly.

Does anyone have any tips before I take a hole saw to the body access it?
Or any better ideas?

You may be able to access it from underneath the truck. It's a caged nut on the backside, and often the sides spread allowing the nut to spin.
