jeff - what's the deal w/ the diamond plate on the half door?

under the diamond plate is the access holes for the mirror mount and on the other side for the latch mechanism. Just used diamond plate to cover the holes

I really like this idea. Are the brackets fabbed or modified and how are they mounted?

cool. i'd like to try my hand at that build sometime. i've got a door i hammered on a tree i was thinking would be a good donor.

There was a thread on this awhile back. Here's mine, its an extra motorcycle mirror I had lying around. Bolts through the door hinge thing. Not really functional...but legal, cheap, and easy
