i am trying to get a set of soft doors made for my K5 anyone know of a good source?

No soft doors for our trucks. There are a couple of companies that make tube doors - ORD & Diy4x.

Also search this site for "half doors" for ideas to make your own.

I have the diy4x tube doors and I'm planning on having my mom make canvas skins for me and adding snaps. Mud deflection and such. It won't be perfect as there are gaps around the bottom and side but it would be better than nothing. Makes for a cold ride home in the fall.

i was thinking about starting with a set of tube doors and having someone add on so i could get material... obviously not going to be perfect, but i just need to keep the majority of rain and mud out

Been thinking the same thing lately, since I've been on a search for doors. Might do a set of half doors and cover the opening with clear material snapped into place. I've seen it here several times. It's a great idea. I already have tube doors and would probably run those during long weekends at the dunes, Moab, etc. just not sure if I'll want to deal with the snaps when I'm cruising around town.

I made these half doors for my old full size and was going to get inserts made but never did for it. Here are the half doors I did for my S10 and did get inserts made. Maybe an option?

looks good man... what im really going for is an extremely light door but i also need to availability of a window opening and closing... (a jeep or humvee soft door) i use my truck for hunting pigs so i need to be able to see but keep mud out on the way through the woods

on the s-10 I lost 20 pounds each door after cutting it open, removing window guts, and plating back in and adding new inside door latch. Could have the inserts made with a zippered window so can be opened/closed easier.
