is there any mods to the york it self that should be done? someone had mentioned something but i cant seem to find any info other then the install stuff. i have mine ready to go but not shure if the compresser is good to go to charge the system.

A york is a brand of AC compressor that people use for an onboard air compressor since it is a self contained unit meaning it has a crankcase of oil and has an inlet and outlet for making air.

This is for On-Board Air. I suppose u could lock the clutch in somehow and run a belt drive from an engine and have a shop compressor if you wanted.

These compressors are driven by the engine for air tires, running air tools and other trail needs for air.

Somewhere I saw someone elses oil mod where they pulled the head and put a screw in the upper end of that oil passage. Supposedly a lot easier and he got the tip from someone at Kilby Enterprises so I would think the advice should be good. I haven't checked into this myself, does anyone know why it wouldn't work?
Edit: found the link
