well im getting ready to swap in my doubler. i know nwf 205 takes 75w90, and i intend to run that in there, but what are you running in the 203 range box? i searched and saw people run all kinds of different weights, but ive got alot of money in my range box, so id like to keep it alive as long as possible. im going to run royal purple fluids in both cases.

also, is there any break-in procedure for new t-cases, or just drive fill 'em up and go? thanks

I went with the full on built 205 from NWF, as well as an NWF built 203 range box. I used 75W90 in both.

The NP203 used 30 weight engine oil when new, but had that differential at the back. The range box is very similar to the NP205, so 75W90 is more appropriate.

I filled em and drove.

thanks, my 205 is the fully built one from NWF as well. ill run 75w90 in the 203 as well. how many quarts does the 203 take?

Yeah, I really didn't keep track. Kept pouring it in until it poured out the fill plug on the PTO cover...

I put 75w90 gear oil in both of mine, for what seemed like forever. If you can, fill them up before you put the case in...
