I'm building my doubler crossmember what did you all use for the mounts that go between the adaptor feet and crossmember?

Did you use rubber or ployurathane?

I remember someone posting a part number from carquest but I cant find the post.

Here is a pic hope this makes sence.

It doesn't matter what anybody else used, if you have urethane engine mounts you must install urethane mounts at that location also. If you use rubber engine mounts then they must be rubber. If you fail to follow this procedure expect to find broken adapters and or trans or t-cases.

I have DIY's poly motor mounts. so I guess the question is where did you get your polurathane bushings and what size did you use?

Diy sells bushing kits, called fabricator sets. Just like what you see at the back of the crossmember you posted. I dont care for that design because he is using bushings on the adaptors as well as bushings at the crossmember. I would imagine that allows for alot of movement. Personally I would either hard mount the adaptors to the crossmember then use bushings at the frame, or hard mount the crossmember and use bushings at the adaptors

That's fine as long as it's the exact same material as your engine mounts. There are different types of urethane so make sure it matches or you're looking for trouble. I would just buy everything from Kert and eleminate the possibilities of any trouble.
