Doubler on eBay!!!

Can someone explain to me what he thinks the 2 speed part is thats between the 203 and the 465???
 
I just left him a question asking where the pic is of the dana 20 doubler. :haha:
 
its a doubler, there are 2 linkages going into the case, duh

Dear 4x4high,

The double is the two speed box in between the transmission and the NP203. The NP203 is a single ratio transfer case with all gear reduction handled prior to the transfer case. Several 4x4 junkies have looked at this and confirmed the identity of the reduction box. I myself, would know this from any other reduction box as I deal mostly in computers.

I guess everyone is gonna have to call the 203 a Doubler now. :rolleyes:
 
The seller is a complete moran, but someone still got a really good deal on a 465/203 Adapter an 10 spline input: Winning bid: $50. :eek1:

I just thought everyone would like to know that the 4 spd and np203 ended up in the right hands:woot:. I've got a 73 GMC jimmy w/ a 350/350/205 and soon to be 350/465/203/205 doubler. Man I feel like I stole it from the guy. But I haven't found a deal like this in a long time. I've seen a couple sets go around the STL area for over $300.

Wow, if you put a '205 on that special '203, does that make it a double Doubler? :haha:

Seriously, congrats, and at least you knew what you were -- and weren't ! -- buying.

(We won't talk about my early adventures buying an excessive number of '203's 'cuz I couldn't count splines...)

The only thing that sucks is the money that will have to be spent to get the job done:doah:. 205 from 400, or 32 spline input of my old 205, doubler kit from either nwf, ord, or sumnermachine, extra crossmemeber, driveshafts, triple stick, etc., etc., etc. But I knew what i was getting into.

At least you don't have to deal with getting lower gearing behind a 4 speed :doah:
