Im looking for some pics of a Doubler behind a 700R4. I was going to put in a 205 from a th350 that I just recently rebuilt, but thinking now that I really want a Doubler. Has anyone done this? From what I understand, I need a 203 that was mated to a th350 and obviously a Doubler kit. Will I have to use the Fitzall spacer? 700/spacer/350figure8 adapter/203 range box/ doubler adapter/ 27spline 205. Is this correct. Ive got the adapter, sleeve, 205 (th350 27spline input), fitzall spacer. Obviously need new driveshafts, shifters, crossmembers. I'm I missing anything?

Or would it be better to go with a 241/205 doubler? Considering I have a figure 8 Np205 and I wouldnt have to use the spacer. I think the doubler kit is cheaper if I go this route. I could sell the spacer. I haven't bought a 203 yet, so Im not out anything there.

I have a 700 203-205 doubler. I used a 203 behind a th350 (27 spline input gear), redrilled the face of the 203 to accept the 208/241 adapter. I have the round gm doubler adapter so my 205 is from an 1986 k30. Hope that helps. I tore it out of my truck last year and this month im reinstalling it in my blazer so no pics at the moment.

Anybody else? The ORD magnum box would be the best option obviously, but cost a bit more.

I can snap some pics on the garage floor if you need, just finished the 700 build so its going on the tranny jack soon.

I run the 203/205 doubler from ORD

I think if you were to ask Stephen at ORD he would favor the 241/205 combo.

When I visited Off Road Design on our trip last year he said the new combo doubler actually provides a better variety of available ratios.

It would be worth giving him a call.

Oneton- pics would be great

The more research I do on the 241/205 doubler, I see they don't make the adapter anymore, just the Magnum box. Does anyone else make an adapter for the 241? Is there a write up on how to cut and assemble the 241 doubler?

I am pretty sure ORD still makes it, don't think its ever been on the website.

Might want to call and make sure.

D&D machine makes one but don't except the customer service you get with ORD. He is a one man show at D&D and pretty busy guy
