I don't know much about a doubler. I do know it a combination of a np203 and np205. I just got a sm465/205 to replace the th350/np203. Can I use the 203 off the th350 and make a doubler to attach to the sm465? What order do they attach? Does the 203 range box attach to the tranny or the back of the 205?

you need a 203 from behind a SM465(if that exists, I don't know). THe 465 you have has a 10 spline output shaft. The th350 has a 27 spline output. So the 203 you have has a 27 spline input as well. I'd look into getting a 32 spline SM465 and a 203 from behind a TH400. Its the strongest combination for a doubler. Oh and it goes, Trans, 203, 205.

Hmm, ok I also have a SM465 in front of an np208 in my '86. I wat to replace the 465 with a 700r4 so I'll have another manual tranny sitting here....My collection is growing.

that tranny off the 86 should be a 32 spline output i found a 32 spline 203 local for under a 100 bucks for mine
took a lot of searching /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

the order it goes is tranny, np203, doubler adapter, then np205 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

the hardest part to find that you will need is a 465 to 203 adapter. if i've heard right the only year that they were offerd was in 74.
