I know WMS is out of business. The guy who started it is back in business. www.sumnermachine.com my question is does anyone know what kind of work he does, good or bad. His price for a doubler is $549. so its really reasonable.

sumner knows his ****, I got a WMS doubler when they had their doubler sale (think it was $499). Well fabbed. The only thing better about the competition (ORD or NWF) is that their aluminum adapters are a lot lighter. Not really a big deal for me... I want a bunch of weight down low!

I have the WMS also. Nice peice. I think it is longer than say an ORD though so if length is a HUGE concern but prob not even enough to worry about, I have mine in a 71 k5 which is shrter than a later model.... then again I am also streched out to 109" WB from the stock 103"WB

I also have the wms doubler. I highly doubt you would ever see any leaks from the welds, they are top notch.

A few things I noticed about the wms doubler...it has no hole for a vent line and the crossmember mounts are higher than on other brands.

Hmm, pretty good price and no major complaints. Might have to check into this.....
