Doubler question

Don't quite understand exactly what is going on here. Have you only driven the truck around in 1st gear? Have you shifted up into higher gears in the transmission to see what happens? The NV4500 1st gear is considered a "granny gear" and is really low. For normal driving on the road you usually don't even use 1st gear and take off from a stop in 2nd gear. Don't know what axle gears or tires size you have but with just having the transmission in 1st gear you may only go 10-15 mph with engine revved out.

Your right I was just stressing on a new build my first my NV wouldn’t shift into second whole other set of problems lol I’ll get it though thanks for the reply .

1st gear is only used in high pulling situations or on hills in my truck. Or rock crawling. I almost always start out in 2nd gear. I think you are ok. But my 465 is 6.55:1 1st gear. The 4500 is very close at like 6.34:1 I believe. So it’ll only go Like 5-10 mph at like 3000 rpm.
