Dose anybody know what the specs are on the 32 spline NP 205 input? I am looking to cut down my own 203 shaft and respline it for the doubler that i am workin on building

I don't have the info you're looking for but i did research it myself recently and found that the resplined shafts were breaking or twisting and it isn't worth the time and effort to cut and respline. You can buy the shaft brand new from ORD (which is what i recently did, about $300.00 IIRC) or if you search on here someone gave the info where ORD is getting them and they're about $90.00 cheaper than ORD.

Edit: I meant 203 and not 205. The used 32spline 203 shaft was $20, the 205 was ~$60.

There's a cool place just north of you Scott in Oakland which has piles of this stuff new and used. (Transfercase express I think is the name)

He is talking about the intermediate shaft that goes into the output side of the range box and splines with the input of the 205.

i wonder is the 205 32 spline input the same splines as a 32 spline slip yoke used on a 2wd chevy trans?
