OK... searching and think I know... but want to get some confirmation.

I have a two stick shifter I got from ORD with the kit like 8 years ago. Just not sure whats going on with the shifters.

The left shifter is.... ?
The right shifter is... ?

I just dont feel positive engagement. So, I cant tell if it clicks in place. I know I am getting low low and 4wd... just cant really tell where the rest are.

What gives?

OK, I was right on the 203 being the left. I am good there. Even with the feel not the best, it works fine.

I am going to do the same you just posted. Where is that hole located?

directly below shift shaft in to the range box.

and its a tight fit to get all in and plug started but makes it feel just like 205 detents. :waytogo: at least it did on my tripple stick 203/205 setup.

my 203 was so weak it prob would have poped out of gear if the shifter rattled to much at least i think. :dunno:

Great tip. I did this on my twin sticked 203 today and it feels like a real transfer case now. No more mushy banana stick. You will do some real cussing getting the bolt started with the spacer, but its worth it. If I ever see you in person the beer is on me. :woot:
