I've been doing my research for my 6.0 liter motor, with a 6 speed transmission, followed with a doubler transfer case. Then I started to think can the doubler work with the new powertrain? good enough for daily driving? What does everybody think, am I crazy or will it work?

6 speed transmission are still the same thing, as long as you use the right input on the first tcase it's all possible.

What about the computer and the vss? Or are the newer models pick up speed from an abs style tone ring on an axle?
There are solutions for all this.
If the tone ring is on the original tcase, lots of people have put one on the 205 of the doubler.

OR, since your swapping in a 6.0 just have the computer reflashed so you don't have to have a VSS. problem solved.
