been sitting in my garage for over a year now, they really add low end...now I have a open spot in the garage,umm...whats next... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
I guess I could put the 14FF on or even the Dana 60 next to it...or the other pile of parts waiting to go on...nah, I'll go have a beer... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

i like my doug thorleys. i have the tri-y's and the chrome has been caked over by dirt. its a pain in the arse to get that baked on dirt off. any suggestions.

I soooo want a set of Thorleys but they are low on the priority list. I say you get the 1 ton on and come down to Los Coyotes on the 18-20th of July.. and actually use it!

Sweet, I've been thinking about swapping out my Hedmans for a while. How do they fit? Do you have access to sparkplugs, filters and such? How low to they hang?

yea...that 1 ton stuff is over rated... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
the only thing I need to fix is the passenger side leaf hanger, the bolt just misses the header so I need to mod it a little to get more clearance....I put the 300Y's (73 to 91 trucks)on and was told that they wouldn't fit my first gen truck...but they cleared everything and went in nice...
now the truck make less noise then with the stock manifolds and under size mufflers... /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I had a 1971 Blazer with the Thorleys on it and they were great as far as fit, looks and sound. I have a 1972 now and dont remember which part number I used back then. I didnt have any problems, it seems that there are problems on the passenger side with the front spring shackle now?

Yeah, I put the Thorley Tri-Y's on my 454 that I swapped into my 87 K5...I just got them for a 87 K-30...The fit great except I had to remove the factory bolt-on bump-stop on the passenger side..And it comes MIGHTY closy to my knock sensor...But the fit really nice and look good to boot....

got mine from a guy through a local paper for $100.00, but the place that I had put them can get them for a good price...I can check but not sure on the shopping to you... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
