Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers?

I think I have a pair of these for a big block. Look like they were chrome when new, and the pipes collect from 4 to 2 then 1 at the collector. That and they have a really thick header plate. Think thats what they are?

Sounds like the Thorley headers I have. I needed to run a Tilton starter (smaller than stock) with a bit of grinding at the back of the case to fit my 82 K3500 w/ 454.

sounds like thorley headers to me. mine bolted right in. no other mods needed. it was on a 350 though.

These were on a 396 in a '77 1-ton 4x4 crew cab. Looked like they had to trim the frame on both sides.
