Is there a way to perform the dove nose but keep the hinges and the hood release mechanism? i love the way they look and perform but i'm not liking the hood pin idea (I'm scrawny and those hoods are heavy ).

You can keep the hinges if you want, but the hood flex's like crazy if you dont have pins.

do you have to do anything different to keep the hinges? also, does it flex more dove nosed without hoodpins than regular?

I want to narrow mine but go with a glass hood. I'm back and forth on leaving it stock width with a glass hood or narrow it. Why can't I have the best of both worlds? Any companied do custom glass hoods? Or what about cutting a glass hood, doable?

Offroad design did a nice job but still have hood pins, I'm not sure about the hinges

Mine still has the stock hinges (cut down a bit) and the stock latch. I do use hood pins though. The body flexes a good amount there and by narrowing it you take alot of the support out of it. I am sure it could be made to work.
