Below is an original quote from another thread on this forum. At first I was looking at the FRONT end of the fender and admiring the trim job. But then I took notice of the back of the fender.

Is that trimmed too? If so, can I get really really close up pic of that area. I want to see how you worked the fender trim to look so good. I want to run 35's on my DD with 3.5" of lift. I really don't want to lift any more and the 35's will hit a little with everything in stock trim. But moving the axle forward (redrilling) and doing this trimmming would be the best. BUT, I want to keep my chrome fender trim and such cause she's a perrrrty truck and all.

Thanks if you can offer some advice.

I trimmed more of the front fenders due to tire to fender contact under flex. I posted those pics in your fender trimming post.:doah:

Here's a couple more pics. The rear of the fender is trimmed substantially.

I cut and re-welded the inner fender mounting brackets to gain more clearance and to keep the inner finders.

The red rings look good man!

Thanks, The first pic shows the aluminum rings. But those only lasted a couple trips out before they were thrashed.

I then got the steel rings, but MRT uses the bright orange powder coating. Red and Orange don't go together, especially in Oklahoma. So I had them coated with red to match the rest of the rig...
