DPI Rear Winch Bumper - As seen on the cover of Four Wheeler

dibs, with a few questions. how does that bumper mount? I have a 73' K5. I cut off the ends of the frame and welded in a 4 1/2 inch of 3/8 wall square tube. right at the end of the frame. the tube sticks out 1 inch past the surface of the tail gate. I could build my own but that's not a bad price. could you or do you have any close up pics? OR would it bolt up to my 89' burb with stock frame horns in the rear??

I don't think it will bolt up to your '73 due to the winch configuration. The winch sits inside the frame rails.

Your '89 lower quarter panels would have to be cut due to the triagulated bracing that runs back to the frame mounts. The end of the frame rails will need to be trimmed as well.

Will it bolt up to a 76' Chalet? I've been looking into tube bumpers, pickup in Tulsa would be no problem.

My first K5, so I've got nothing to compare it to. But I think its a standard bumper that bolts to bumper extensions which bolt to the frame. This is the best pic I've got of the rear.

Just from looking at the picture, it looks like it would fit around the body lines of the top. And if its a standard bumper, it should bolt up to the extensions.

ohwell, I will just have to continue with my plan to build my own, thank you anyways. by the way I was going to model my bumper after yours, I dig the look of it. I will tweak it a bit but it will look similar. great design you have there.

You have one person in front of you. He asked if he could put a down payment on it yesterday. I told him yes, but I haven't heard back from him yet. If I don't hear back from him by Monday, or if he has changed his mind, your next up...
