Drag link ends

I replaced my drag link ends 2 years ago, and had to do them again today- My question is, does this sound like a reasonable lifetime for them, 4" lift and 35" tires (with steering corection being a raised steering arm)??

I replaced mine after 3 years but only because the boots were torn up and grease was everywhere. They were still tight, but they are lifetime, so it didn't cost a dime.
