i installed my 4" lift last saturday and bashed the drag link up pretty good (actually broke my pickle fork too) so i replaced it last night. i had to extend it pretty far to get the steering close to centered with the new steering arm. is there a rule of thumb for how much needs to be threaded into the sleeve for safety? i have maybe 1.5" of each half threaded in right now and might need to back it out a little more.

I think 1'' is the minimum i would run. There is a ratio for the size of the threaded piece to how much should be threaded in for safety but I cannot find it. It is usually used for rod ends.
