i need to correct the steering after a 6-8 inch lift was added. could i get some pics of everyones setup because just the raised steering arm just isnt enough to get it right

If you have a 10 bolt or dana 44 , skyjacker has a 7 inch raised steering arm. Basicly a 4 inch arm with a 3 inch block cast together. If you already have the arm skyjacker has a 2.5 inch drop pitman arm.

crossovers too expensive at this point. the pitman arm...where might one aquire it on short notice? i assume my drag link is supposed to the relativley flat

local speed shop or 4wd shop mabye.

i have a local speed shop and its a distributer threw driver fx stores. i can get 95% of what i need next day and same price as summit racing.

Yes, the drag link is supposed to be fairly flat, but that's just to keep angle available in the TREs and minimize bump steer. It doesn't do anything to address the knuckle sitting a foot lower than the steering box.

Actually the arm is closer to 6" and the pitman arm is closer to 1.5". I have or had both in the past and there was no way they were near 9.5" when combined.

anybody got a picture or two of a properly setup 6 inch lift steering?
