I've got both steering braces, new Tie-rods new ball joints and here lately Im getting lots of popping going on up front sitting still or at low speeds turning. So my guess is that the joints on the ends of the drag link are worn and causing this.

Has anyone ever had one come apart while driving and how bad was it to control if at all till you came to a stop? /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

check your u bolts on the front axle...sounds to me like they loosened up on ya a little /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Mine does that too, but it's the sector shaft sliding up and down in the gear box /forums/images/icons/blush.gif Also as mentioned, check the u bolts and your sway bar.

Check the shackle bolts for the front shackles too...

My drag link ends were pretty bad but never came apart, plus they're cake to change and not even that expensive.

Will do tomorrow. I did check the steering bolts. They got tightened some what, also greased all the joints and found my lower ball joint driverside zerk was sheered off. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif Looks like tap and die time or new ball joint. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

I also have a popping at low speed or stopped while turning /forums/images/icons/frown.gif . I actually narrowed it down to the front spring bushings and shackle bushings being in need of some grease. I guess I should have done that when I first installed them /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif !

the springs will make a fair bit of noise in the situations you described.
smear grease between the leaves and see if that quiets it down
