I need to replace the drag link on my 72 K5.
The one currently on it is one piece. All I have seen for sale are three piece ones. Any recommendations on which one is best to use and where to get a new one piece drag link?
Thanks!

I've never seen a 1piece...
I like the 3 piece better because you can adjust it to get your steering wheel straight after a lift.

The one piece desgin is less desirable, and I belive very hard to come by as far as rebuilt units. I think your only option is to get a 3-piece from the wrecking yard for thr sleave, then buy the ends from the parts store. I personnly would upgrade to the adjustable desgin myself.

Guess I will get a three piece.
Thanks for the info.

Dan;
I may still have a 1-piece from my '71. I had to replace it w/a 3-piece when I did my lift. The 1-piece won't fit (too short) if you lift - even w/raised steering arm. IMO 3-piece is better (and will be required if you decide to lift), but if you're keeping your K5 suspension stock and set on 1-piece, let me know - I'll check if I have it and condition.

Thanks for the response Dave.
I ordered a three piece from Chevy Duty.
Should get it tomorrow. If it doesn't work out, I'll contact you regarding the one piece.
