I have an observation to make.
This is a Chevy truck forum and Ford’s get bashed all the time. Yet, The Cobra, Daytona Coupe and the GT40 have been listed multiple time. I think we can mostly all agree they are the standard of the ages for performance and cool. I know I would love to have one each.
But since I live in reality I probably won’t be able to do that. So, I retired last month and spent most of that money on this:
2008 Cayman S. My wife and I just got home from a 2300 mile drive to the winding roads of North Carolina and back. It might not be the car I always dreamed of. But it is close on performance to most, comfortable, gets 24 mpg and I can hear the radio playing wit’s the cruise set at 95 going down the interstate.

How about this one. It is about 30 feet away from the shop, which is as far as this truck has been in a while. Except yesterday when I drove 1-mile down the street to Home Depot.

The car parked next to mine belongs to a guy that has the shop a few doors down from mine. It is a 1966 Mustang with a 351 Windsor stuffed into it.
The old FJs are tanks, I love 'em too.
