I want to thank whoever suggested I get on a while back. I sat and tried to come up with some ideas to finish my rad mounts, then I saw the dremel case on the shelf, threw a cutoff wheel on it, and it worked perfect!

Come to think of it, I think it was aychdee, when we were doing RC last year :wink1:

For my computer projects I say "It's not a real casemod until you need a Dremel"... but the same holds for the truck projects. If the 4.5" angle grinder is too big or the sawzall won't fit, then by all means, break out the Dremel.

The ceramic cutting wheels are best suited for breaking into nasty shrapnel and embedding themselves in the ceiling, walls, and your knees. Though they cost more, the fiberglass-impregnated cutting wheels are the shiznit for wood, plastic, aluminum and thin steel.

And the big sanding drum is magic for plastic shaping ... the radio delete panel and switch plates and such in my trucks are all scrap ABS or acrylic and Dremelled ... etc. :D

Well, I'm glad YOU GUYS at least put the dremel to good use. I got one of the dremel kits with all the accessories kinda just to have and now the only use MINE gets is with the Wifey. Yeah, she puts the medium drum sander on it and uses it to grind down her caluses (sp) on her feet. It is very disgusting because it's like grinding on wood and the skin dust goes everywhere but it works like a sumbitch in them.
