I recently picked up a dresser compressor. It's a monster!
It's a Dresser 600 series
I'm having trouble finding an inlet filter for it though. The inlet on it is 1.75" and right now sucks so hard it's dangerous to be around. I've found lots of stuff for Le Roi compressors, which should be the same thing, but I can't find anything related to 600 series.
Also, I'm not sure how to hook up these 2 air connections:
The one on the left appears to simply be a spot to hook up a gauge, and the one on the right looks like it opens the valve when the pressure switch turns off.
I'm not sure why that copper line coming from the compressor would go straight to the tank like it does. If I understand it correctly, I think the copper line is to unload the cylinders when the motor shuts off, which would mean it should go directly to the fitting on the switch.
Am I missing something? Anybody know how this is supposed to hook up? Got a source for a manual?
