I work at the ACE hardware here in red oak texas. we carry a brand of bit in the store call Norseman Industrial. After breaking about a whole set of dewalt and irwin bits, i got a set of these and havent had any trouble with them. Heres a link if anyone wants to try them out: http://www.norsemandrill.com/
ive done 1/4 inch plate about 40 holes without a snap. work perfect for me.

Cool... thanks.

Thats the problem with bits... the longer they stay sharp, they easier they break (usually). How's the point after 40 holes?

not sharp but it still drills if you predrill with a smaller bit. They all come with a split point. Pretty dam good bits if you ask me. I reccomend them to everyone who comes into our store.
