I have a question regarding cracked headers. Will the cracked headers affect the o2 sensor reading/operation? I recently did a tune up new cap and rotor plugs and wires. I went to replace the header gasket and noticed the exhaust leak was not the gasket but the cracked header. At start up its fine and while driving its fine but at stop lights seems like it lacks fuel but only then because at highway speed when trying to pass somebody theres no hesitation. I also replaced fuel filter.

It's possible. What year are we talking about here and how old is the O2?

It sounds like a solid place to start. Ya gotta fix the exhaust leak anyway, might be a one two combo fix.

Fix known problems first. See if other problems go away once problem is fixed.

Yes, any exhaust leak before the O2 sensor will effect the reading.
