:dunno:going with a 4 inch lift and did a swap for a d60 front and 14 bolt in the rear. I have had several people tell me to get a conversion u-joint but where in the world would I get one? also, do yall think I could get away with running stock driveshafts with a 4 inch lift and maybe some axle shims or something?

Napa 447 if memory serves, perfect fit

Depends on what year the truck is you are swapping the axles into.

If it has a 12 bolt rear it uses a 348

If 10 bolt rear then 447

Can usually get them at any local parts store.

Conversion

You can also buy them at oreilly auto parts they use the same numbers that napa uses and they are cheaper:)

Yeah I went to autozone yesterday and the guy thought I was speaking jibberish or something. Its a 1990 so a 447? And what about up front?

I went through two of Autozones conversion u-joints, and the ones around here for some reason, well back when I needed them, didn't have any in stock, they had to be ordered in... So I went to Napa, got the 447 and it has only been replaced once and that was only because the driveshaft was borrowed to get a friends broke down truck unstuck from a trail run he went on by himself.

I figured it was apart, I may as well replace it.

Some parts I just won't buy at Autozone anymore... and believe me, I have bought A LOT of parts from them :doah:

I have a '90 K5 and just did the Dana 60/14 Bolt swap. My driveshaft was 3R. I used a 3R to 1350 conversion U-Joint. The driveline builder measured everything to make sure the joints were right.

In the past when I did a 3/4 ton swap into another truck, I just took the driveline u-joint to the parts store and had them look up a u-joint for a 14bff. They went and got it, measured both u-joints and figured out which conversion to get.
