hey guys, got my 203/205 doubler in and trans tunnel done. so now im on to drive shafts before i fab my crossmember. I want to make sure the crossmember doesn't hit the shafts , i'm trying to do something kinda temporary untill i can afford some real shafts. I bought the ord companion flange for my 205 and don't know what yoke will fit on it from my drive shaft. i'm trying to see what i can do with these three shafts to make something work. #3 is the rear (to long) i want to double cardon it. #2 is the front (way to short) #1 is one a friend gave me. I'm hoping i can cut weld whatever combo is best and get them balanced. then later on get a high angle driveline or something.

What's the "companion flange from ORD"? Pics or specs?
Is it for the front or rear output?
What yoke / flange will you be using on the opposite output?
What series yokes are on your axles (1310, 1350, etc)?
Do any of the u-joints on those shafts match the yokes on the axles?

Companion flange is from ORD and its for the rear of the 205 so i can run a double cardon. Im at work and dont have any pics but i can take some when i get home. The stock 12 bolt still has the 1310 yoke. I would like to change all of it to 1350. All the yokes and u joints are 1310. I can keep the 1310's if they are not going to explode instantly. Then i would just need to shorten the rear and lengthen the front and figure out the double cardon situation on the rear. If i do 1350 all around i dont know what and where to order. Im thinkin 2" .120 wall dom. Thank you.

Ok I gotcha, I didn't realize they had yoke parts and such.

Measure the bolt pattern on the flange, as well as the pilot diameter (if it has one). Somewhere here in the Garage forum there's a thread that discusses using a double cardon head from a later model Super Duty or Dodge, you might get lucky and have the same bolt pattern.

I'd bet the 1310's will last a while. I could have just been lucky but in my experience I broke fewer joints once I had my truck adequately geared (probably because I didn't have to work it so hard anymore), you're Doubler may help here (even more so if you have an auto trans).

Here's the flange from ord i think its a tom woods. i was hoping i could use the double cardon from the front shaft my buddy gave me.
2" pilot Drilled with both 3" and 3-1/2" four-bolt-square patterns

Anyone know if tattons drive shafts are good? Looks like they are. And seem like a good price. Im just double checking. Thanks
