wondering if you can tell me the aproxomet differance, between
driveshafts for

a 88 3/4 suburban 350/400/208 and

6.2/465/205.

thanks guys

not sure if the engine length makes a difference, i would assume it would be the same based on transmission crossmembers with the same drivetrain/diff engine. the sm465 is 12 inches long so you would need to equate the bellhousing into the equation but according to the novak website the th400 would be 17.9 inches equivalent when factoring in the bellhousing for a manual transmission(not sure which manual transmission) but 24.37 inches overall. the np205 and 208 are the same lengths. when i swapped my 700r4/208 for a sm465/205 it ended up shorter...

its just a few inches. the onyl differacne is the tranny/ tcase. i have a 400/208 in my long bed and am going to be swapping in a 465/205. i think its 2-3 inches longer for the 465/ 205. For the 400/ 208 i measured to the tip of the slip yoke on the t case.

I have 465 and 241 burb,
55" to rear tcase seal + 4-5 to for the sye I dont have. then whatver the diff is between 205 and 241
