it depends on what tranny/tcase combo.
i have a 465/205 shortbed driveshaft here, and its almost as long as my 700r4/208 rear driveshaft.
a friend has a shortbed th350/203 driveshaft also that i could measure if you wanted.

it was 46" from center to center, had like 2" or so of compression left.
