I need new drivesahfts. Im going to be running a 454/TH350 with 37" TSLS. I currently have a NP208 should I even bother or find a 205. Or will the NP208 survive. Besides I do have a spare 208. Also if I get new driveshaft for the 208 will they work on a 205 if I decide to put one in?

Your 208 case should hold up fine. Besides being weaker than a 205, the only real disadvantage to the 208 is the slipsyoke style driveshaft. Of course, some 205's have this design, so finding one of those would work for you to. Dont forget the low range in the 208 is about 2.8 to 1 where the 205 is only 2 to 1... a huge difference. Whatever you do, spend your money and do it right the first time.
