looking for a shortbed slip yoke 205 rear shaft, i have the yoke just need the shaft....or a long bed shaft i can cut down...?.........the rest of the parts i got are from a 80 truck...

TH350, TH400, or SM465? The transmissions are a different length and thus the driveshafts are different as well.
sm465... yea i looked all over and cant even find a long bed shaft, they are all bent at the junky...
any idea how much it weighs, could u measure the tube length for me and the total length..?
Its 41 1/2 compressed with 4 inches of throw. it weights 14 pounds. I can't find the other ones. James.
not to bother but from u joint to u joint would be around 46.5 or so..?...ill have to call monday to see what shipping would be.......thankyou i appreciate it...one other thing the shaft shouldnt have the slip, the transfer has a slip yoke so it might not b the right one...?

If that doesnt pan out I have a slip yoke 1 ton shaft with 1350 u-joints in it. You could cut it down and it would work for you. Came off of my k30 which had a slip yoke 205 at the time.
ok ill keep that in mind...a friend of mine works next to a shop that does em here he can make mine work,resleeve and balance for a real good price....so ill see what happens. cant wait to get it togeather and take it for a rip..
