i just bought a 1991 k5 and ive been noticing when i get in it to drive it feels like something binding up in the rear end. it dont wanna move but if i give it some gas then it moves not to sure where to start here need some help. sorry for the poor discription but thats the best way i can explain it

First make sure its not in 4wd. If it is, you could be getting some binding in the drivetrain. Then, make sure the emergency brake is not on. and try applying it and releasing it to see if the cable might be binding.

After that, your next best bet is to chock the front wheels well, put the truck in neutral, and jack up both rear tires to see if they will spin easily by hand.
If not, you will have to try to determine why. It could be brakes dragging, or a bad bearing.

ok i think i figured it out i texted the old owner of this blazer and he said it never did that to him and i got to thinking when i loaded it up and i set the parking brake so i got under it today and beat both back drums with a dead blow and i got the parking brake to break free it rolls smooth now no hopping or jerking!!
