ok, this has happened to me a couple times now. out wheeling/crawling in rocks and slip off something and comedown on my front driveline, instantly shearing it in two. my question is, does anyone know of any sort of shield or protection for the front driveline to prevent this situation. yeah, i know, bigger tires, better spotter, etc...hahaha....really though, is there such an item or is this just a lost thought?

after killing 2 front driveshafts out of .120 wall. I went to 2in .250 wall.

It just laughs now.

I am using .188 wall its bent but hasn't broken I will probably step up to .250 once I get a 1410 yoke for the t case.

My current drivelines are 3" .120 wall 4130 Chromoly. I recently had my rear on a rock pretty hard and it is a very long driveshaft. I had it checked afterwords and it's still straight so it held up.
