I just got my transfer case bolted in after having some machine work done and am trying to sort out the front driveline angle. I've got six inches of lift and the front pinion angle is 3 degrees and the t/c is 3 degrees as well. The way I understand it the pinion will have a tendency to move down 1-2 degrees under operating load so do I need to shim it up 2-3 degrees to compensate. Also my transfer case has a front flange, am I in the "ballpark" degree wise to do a fixed yoke driveline? I would rather not do a CV in the front if possible.
