Driver electronic window issues

Recently purchased an 83 k5 with Silverado trim, truck is mostly original and in pretty good shape for being parked for many years. However, I’ve had an issue (of course) with my driver window intermittently not working and the master switch to the passenger window always works. Any advice on where I need to start looking or what to look for to diagnose this issue?

The driver window could be the switch.
If the passenger side works when the driver side doesn't, then the wires supplying power and ground to the switch should be good.
Now your statement about the passenger side always works from the master switch, I assume that you mean from the driver side switch. Does this imply that the right window doesn't work from the right switch?

Thanks for the response, but no, I meant that from the driver side switch only the passenger side window works, and the drivers side window is unresponsive randomly. Hope that paints a better picture.

Ok, I kinda figured that. I would suspect the switch. The motors usually don't quit, and then go back to working. At least the ones that I have seen fail....
The switch gets a workout over the years, and the dirt and electrical current wear on the contacts.

Yeah I actually finally got the thing to roll up yesterday finally, weirdest thing, it does show some corrosion from what looks like water damage, I’ll post an update as soon as I get the new switch installed.
