/forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif I had to bust into my own truck today and thought it would be easiest to replace the wing window... Holy Hell, how do you get it out??? I removed a nut and a giant spring from inside the door, and it still won't come out!!! /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

like 3 screws around outside edge of door, i bolt right under the lock/lever and 1 half way down the door. Sorry i don't have one tho, i only have a spare pass side one.

remove rear track, one screw under door panel towards bottom back corner and one on side of door jamb side up around exterior door handle height, remove them and slide the rear steel track down out of way, the glass weatherstripping channel slides in it,

slide door glass towards back of door and remove the three phillips indentated screws along top of doro front side triangle area, and remove screw under doro panel that holds bottom part of ent assembly, pull assembly back and down at the top and then start twisting the entire assembly and guide it out of door through the notch at the vent assembly post, i have a good clean vent assembly if you need one, PM me or something

the spring and nut is for the vent glass to pivot in the vent assembly frame, its easier to swap entire assembly than just the glass, the glass pivots on top part with a rivet that has to be drilled out

I have one lined up from another CK5 guy, but if for some reason that doesn't work out I'll let you know. Thanks!

Cheers,
Scott

ARG!!!!! Had my truck broken into while at church today! Fortunately all they took was some $12 locks, left the $200 tools, ha! They were covered with a sheet :-).

Anyway, I'm in need of the driver vent window, still have yours?
