driver window stuck

This has got me puzzled, it has happened to me about 3-4 times now. If you roll the window ALL the way down, it will get stuck and wont roll up. I can hit the button and hear the motor make some noise and watch the volt meter drop a bit but nothing. After a while I would just hit the button and bam the window would shoot right up. If I roll the window almost all the way down I never have the problem but I forgot and its stuck again. Its been stuck for about 2 weeks now and I dont think its gonna magically fix itself this time.

The motors are only about 2 years old and I dont think they are the problem, its almost like the track is going to far down? Any ideas?

Sounds like a short. Check the harness in the hing area.

Mine did that from time to time, I think I just had a dead spot in the motor of course it was the original door motor. Only 2 years old is a little weird for something like that to happen.

Could also be the window regulator. Check the tracks and rollers to see if they are worn out. I had a similar problem and mine ended up being one of the rollers for the regulator would pop out of the track and wouldn't allow the window to go up.
