Driver's Side Vent window frame

Anybody have the frame part of the driver's side vent window for a 1974 Blazer? LMC wants $400 for the assembly...that's insane.

Mine is split at the "swivel" point...not sure if I can weld it or not...

I can`t see the picture.I know you can get the whole vent assembly from classic parts with glass for about $160.

What your looking for GM refers to it as a Vent Sash Assembly and they were about 16 bucks back in the day and then they went up to about 35-40 bucks and went disco rather quick when the '81 and up design came into play. Any 73-80 pickup, burb, K5 etc will fit. Trick is look at the top of the vent, 73-80 is pointed and 81 up is blunted. Wierd place for a break as they always seem to calf in the bottom.

1974 Blazer Vent Window Frames

Did the vent window frames come from the factory black or chrome?

Mine are rusty...as you can see in the picture in the first post....can they be refinished?

Man, I don't do the spellcheck police thing.

When I read something misspelled, my mind just corrects it in my head, and I chug on along.
And I am really good at realizing what someone meant to say...........

But, I apologize, but what the heck do cows have to do with anything.
