I have an 80 k5 that i put a 14 bolt, dana 60 and a 6inch lift on. Iv got a manual trans and a 205 transfer case with a slip yoke. What i need to ask is do i need to swap my slip yoke with a fixed yoke and how. And what is the best drive shaft set up to use to get the correct agle. This is my first project truck so any help will be appreciated thank you.

I would swap out the slip yoke for a fixed yoke if it was mine. Other than that I can't help you out much.

You dont have to but I would. You will need to find another case to rob the yoke out of, or find another case thats fixed already.

Do you have any lift? If so, it depends on how much lift you have and where your pinion is pointing.

thanks for the info

Thanks what all will i need to replace the slip yoke with a fixed yoke. And will i need to remove the transfer case to do it. I have a 6 inch superlift soft ride.
