to try and make a long story short... im getting a 76 3/4ton gmc pickup 4x4, 1 ton rear end d44 up front. nice set up. well eventually i want to swap the truck axles and put them on my k5 and put the 1/2 ton k5 axles on the pickup so i can still drive it around for a dd. so my question is this: will my driveshaft on the k5 bolt right up to the 14 bolt which will replace the 12 bolt?? or am i looking at getting a new d-shaft? 2nd, will a 15x10" rim clear the giant breaks of the 14 bolt? or am i going to be needing new rims, say 16/17's..

any help would be great.. thx guys

I swaped a 10 bolt eight lug and a 14ff in my blazer and i made a 15x10 fit it works fine on the rear but had to to a little caliper grinding in the front. as for the drive shaft they will work but you will probably need to get a differnt u joint.
